12 FREE Summer Concerts in Upstate New York

Who says you have to pay to see a good live show? Here are a handful of free summer concerts happening all over the Empire State.

Summer's going to be a blast, and these free concerts will certainly heat up our fun thermometer.

Cheap Trick

One of our favorite classic rock bands will be performing Saturday, June 4th at Taste of Syracuse.

They were recently inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame too. The festival and the concert are both free. For more information click HERE.

Rachel Platten

The "Fight Song" singer will be performing as part of the Darien Lake Concert Series on Saturday June 4th.

Michael McDonald

Doobie Brother, McDonald will be headlining the Syracuse Jazz Fest at Onondaga Community College on July 2nd in Syracuse.

Sawyer Fredericks

Our hometown hero and  2015 "The Voice" winner will be performing at the Cobleskill Sunshine Fair on July 30th.

New York State Fair Shows

Pop star, Kesha will be performing August 25th, 80's rockers, Toto takes the stage on August 26th, world renowned pianist, and "Range" front man Bruce Hornsby brings his show to the fair on August 28th.

"Eye of the Tiger," singers, Survivor performs August 30th, and other shows include: Macy Gray August 31st, Flo Rida September 1st, Culture Club September 2nd, and Chicago September 3rd. For more information click HERE.
