Greyson is a 21-month-old baby boy who is currently in the ICU at Syracuse's Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital. One day his mom Amber saw that his skin was yellow with purple dots. She rushed him to a local hospital and they first assumed he had cancer. After further testing they ruled out cancer, but found something else that was also life-threatening.

It was determined that Greyson had a condition called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis or "HLH." According to Greyson's GoFundMe page,

HLH is often caused by an inherited problem of the immune system, which is called “primary” HLH or “familial” HLH. In patients with primary HLH, cells of the immune system, principally T cells and NK cells, don’t work properly to destroy infected or damaged cells as they should. Because of this, the immune system becomes overstimulated and over activated. The immune system then begins to damage the patient’s own tissues and organs, including the bone marrow, the liver and the brain.

While Greyson remains hospitalized, his mother and father are burdened with medical bills and the cost of travel back and forth from Rome to Syracuse. They need your help and a GoFundMe page has been set up to assist with those costs. To support this family you can visit the GoFundMe page by CLICKING HERE.
