Amanda Seyfried, with her luxe, flaxen mane of hair and those massive doe eyes, has the deck stacked in her favor when it comes to looking good. But despite her natural attributes, she faltered and disappointed at tonight's (Jan. 13) Golden Globe Awards.

She wore a deconstructed and tattered pink Givenchy gown made of a lacy, pale pink fabric, which was feminine and darling in and of itself -- but the styling of this dress was just all wrong.

The bodice is too busy and a bit fussy, and the long tangles of wavy hair compete with the top of the dress, which we can't really see too well. There's just too much going on from the waist up with Seyfried's couture gown.

Sloppy and messy, and a true disappointment from someone who has the goods to be a style star.
