The annual Perseid Meteor Shower was overhead Earth on August 11-12 and again the Perseids proved to be a spectacular show for stargazers.

A heartwarming story came out of Northern Lower Michigan this week involving a member of the US Marine Corps who was running a 5K race at the Venetian Festival in Charlevoix.
