Race time records getting broken at the Boilermaker is always a thrill.  On Saturday, 3/22, the Boilermaker set another record.  Registration for the 2014 Boilermaker filled up in record time.

Registration online began at noon on Saturday and by 2:20 that afternoon, the 15k was already full.  Twenty minutes later, the 5k was full.  Amazing how quickly the 37th Boilermaker filled up, isn't it?  Every year it seems more and more people get interested in this premiere Utica area event.

To keep this in perspective, registration for last year's Boilermaker closed out in three days.  This year, less than three hours.  14,000 runners for the 15k and 4,500 for the 5k on Sunday July 13th.

For those who weren't able to sign up in time for the Boilermaker, you'll have two more chances.  One with the Boilermaker's Charity Bib Program and the other with the transfer program in May.  That's when people already signed up decide not to run after all and give up their bibs.

Congrats to those who got through and now let the training begin!
