Having to battle cancer once when you're a child is hard enough, but three times. Lena Dorsagno of Utica was first diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma at the age of 4 in 2010. It relapsed in 2012 and has returned once again.

A few weeks ago, doctors found another tumor during a routine scan. Lena was taken into surgery the following day to remove the mass. She started chemo therapy on Monday July 20th and has received 4 doses already.

Lean's mom Brandi Boyer says "a bump on her head is what started the nightmare. Lena had tumors throughout her entire body and the disease was in her bone marrow."

Lean is being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering and the procedures are having a huge financial toll on the family. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help ease the financial burden. Lena is also doing her part, with her own art fundraiser she calls 'monkey business.' "She is so excited to be able contribute," Brandi says.

Lena is making pictures and bracelets that she sells to the highest bidder, with all the money going towards her medical expenses.

Although the family continues to keep their head up for Lena's benefit, Brandi says watching her daughter go through this is heartbreaking. "My poor baby's childhood has been stolen from her. She has spent so much of her life in hospitals. It's just not fair. Please continue to pray for our angel. She needs all the love and support to help her get through this battle."
