What started as an innocent Facebook post has turned into a science experiment. And no, it has nothing to do with tequila.

In this week's "98 Seconds with Naomi Lynn" video, we conduct a little science experiment. It started when we spotted a "random facts" Facebook post. The post stated:

Did you know?

Lemons float and limes sink

I saw this and thought, "Ohhh, no way. That's pretty cool." But then I also remembered there are a lot of those "random facts" posts that aren't actually true. So I decided to test it out, to find out whether it's really true or not.

So how did this little experiment go?

You can see if it was true or not in the video at the top of this page.

As for what you can do with this new-found knowledge? I'm not sure. Could be something interesting to show the kids. Or maybe use it as a (kind of lame) bar trick. If your friends or family have had a few drinks, they may think it's kind of cool. Either way, now you know.
