Not only is it okay to treat yourself once in a while, but that leftover pizza can be a better option for breakfast.

That's right... You read that first sentence right, leftover pizza (or even fresh pizza if you can find a joint open in the morning), is not a bad choice for breakfast. Actually, it can be beneficial for you.

That's what this week's "98 Seconds with Naomi Lynn" video is all about (which you can watch at the top of this page). So most of us, if not all of us, have heard that if you deprive yourself of delicious foods while you're dieting, you're more likely to overindulge later. That's part of the reason behind this finding...BUT not the whole reason. For some, our  willpower is outstanding, and we can handle cutting pizza out (and other treats) for long periods of time without a problem, like overindulging later.

So this new study found that a lot of those cereals, that are supposed to be so great for you in the morning, aren't as good as they sound. Some of those sugary cereals (with a cup of milk), have the same amount of calories as that slice of pizza! And on top of that, the slice of pizza can have more nutritional value compared to the cereal. WSVN Miami reported on the new study earlier this week, and I happened to stumble across it on Facebook. After reading the reasons behind pizza being a better option for breakfast, I HAD to share this information with everyone.

I don't know about you, but after my boyfriend and I order pizza, there are ALWAYS leftovers. Sure, we can save them for lunch or dinner again the next day, but for breakfast?! It's always tempting, and now there's reasons to actually go for it.
...To be honest, even if there wasn't any "health" reasons behind it, we would still enjoy that pizza for breakfast. But now there's an excuse!

Hope this information makes you as happy as it made me. Enjoy your pizza!
