In this week's "98 Seconds" video, Naomi Lynn gets a little fired up about a kid creating a GoFundMe Page for something he definitely should pay for himself... And people are actually donating to him!

Alright, maybe I'm a little more fired up than I need to be, but something about this just hit me all wrong. I understand you can set up a GoFundMe Page for whatever you want, but a lot of people use them to pay for things like unexpected medical expenses, funeral costs, things for the community, or other charity-like reasons.

This kid did not.

Long story short, this kid was upset while driving after another car passed him (and apparently decided to speed to try and catch/pass him). Well, he ended up getting pulled over and getting a ticket. You can probably see where this is going...

Yep. He started a GoFundMe Page to pay for the speeding ticket.

First of all, yes you can create a page for whatever you want, but that doesn't mean you should. He was speeding, he got caught, he earned that ticket. So take responsibility and pay for the ticket... right?!

And I know no one is FORCED to donate to anyone, but still. Maybe what really bothers me is all the people who donated to him. The kid wanted $500 and he got well over that (you can see how much and how fast he raised it, in the video at the top of this page).

Again, I'm sure I'm overreacting, but I just can't believe so many people would donate to a "cause" like this!

What do you think about this GoFundMe Page? Is it ridiculous and a hit on where our society is going? Or is he a genius for getting other people to pay for his ticket?
