A Baby Name Inspired By Facebook
May 17, 2011 11:46 AM Of all the thousands, if not millions of baby names out there, one Israeli couple has taken their love for Facebook to the extreme and named their baby ”Like.”
This is how the girl’s father, Lior Adler, explained the name to the German press agency dpa:
“If once people gave Biblical names and that was the icon, then today [the Facebook Like] is one of the most famous icons in the world.”
Adler’s admits his friends and family reacted “incredulously” to his unusual name selection.
What do you think of naming a baby Like? I think it’s ridiculous, but to each his own.
