A Seven Year Old Boy Fighting Cancer Scores a 69-yard Touchdown For The Cornhuskers [VIDEO]

I usually try to keep my posts on the bright side...but this story almost made me cry. It's a must watch. Jack Hoffman is the newest member of the Nebraska Cornhusker's football team and he's only seven! He's fighting brain-cancer and so, decked out in a number 22 jersey, Jack did indeed get in the game. He took a hand off and, took off! Jack ran 69 yards to the end zone while the crowd of more than 60,000 fans cheered him on and players followed him to lift him on their shoulders.

Jack said that the moment was "awesome." According to WXYZ Channel 7,

"His father described the event as "a lot of emotions right at once". Very emotional to see that. Husker fans have been so incredible to Jack and our family and especially to this cause."
