Legendary AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson received a stern warning from his doctor when the singer was told to "stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss."

Johnson and AC/DC are known to be one of the loudest live bands ever, and now all that noise could spell the end for one of the most famous rock bands in the world.

The Huffington Post reports the news, with the band announcing that 10 upcoming dates will be postponed.

The dates run from their March 8 show in Atlanta through their April 4 concert in New York City.

The band has announced that the dates will be made up later in the year, "likely with a guest vocalist."

Fans with tickets to the postponed shows will be able to use them for the future makeup shows, or return them for a full refund.

If Johnson is officially done touring, his last live appearance with AC/DC will have been on February 28 in Kansas City.
