Remember, Adopt...Don't shop! Today we would like to feature two pets currently living at the Stevens-Swan Humane Society. We've got a cuddly kitty and man's best friend looking for a new home.

Stevens-Swan Humane Society

Carmella is a stunning Tortie kitty who came in as a stray. Although she was a stray, she is a very proper kitty. She loves to sit or lay in her kitty bed very politely with a sound. She is great with other cats and would do okay in a home with a calm dog that will not harass her too much. If you are interested in Carmella please call today or stop by!

Alaska is such a sweet girl that we are confident she'll make a great addition to new loving family. She was surrendered because she no longer got along with her owners cat. Alaska is 8 years old and loves to be outside. She loves swim in the dog pools. Alaska will will make a great addition to your home so, please come and visit her, she will capture your heart.

Did you know AmeriCU is once again pitching in to help their animals? On Sunday, August 25th, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., they will be having a car wash at the Humane Society with all proceeds going to SSHS. They will also be having an Adopt-A-Thon where every animal is just $50, yeah, just 50 bucks! Also, please remember that the 21st annual Wiggle-Waggle Walk-a-Thon is Sunday September 15, so come join us at the park.

You can find out more about Alaska & Carmella along with the other pets available when you Email the Stevens-Swan Humane Society of Oneida County. Or visit them at 5664 Horatio Street in North Utica near BJ’s, Wal Mart and Lowes.
