Adopt A Pet Wednesday: Meet Red, Maggie & Braxton [PHOTOS]
We would like to try something different this week and feature three dogs currently living at the Stevens-Swan Humane Society. I say this affectionately, if they could talk, they'd be barking, "take me home with you"! Please read on and learn more about Red, Maggie and Braxton who are looking for a new home for the holidays.
C'mon, don't you melt when you look into the eyes of this handsome guy? His name is Red and he is a 7 year old Husky that came in as a stray. Red is very friendly and he loves a nice belly rub. He even knows a few tricks too! He would do best in an adult home with no small dogs or cats.
If your looking for a sweetheart of a dog, Maggie is for you. She is a beautiful adult female Pit Bull Terrier mix. Maggie thinks she is a queen and because of her diva attitude she would do best as an only pet. That way she will make sure to receive all of the attention she desires and remember, Maggie likes to be spoiled.
There is a good selection of Pit Bull mix dogs at the shelter and here is another. Braxton is a year old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a lot of spunk. He is very smart and would respond well to some basic training. If you like to walk your dog for exercise, he would make a great addition to your family, if you can keep up with his energetic personality.
You can find out more about Red, Maggie, Braxton and the other pets available when you Email the Stevens-Swan Humane Society of Oneida County.
