Adopt A Pet Wednesday: Meet Sophia, Miss Kitty and Meredith
Remember, Adopt…Don’t shop! Today we would like to feature two pets currently living at the Stevens-Swan Humane Society and one still residing with R-Cats. These wonderful pets are looking for a new home, perhaps yours?
Sophia is an adult female Pit Bull mix. She was brought to the Society on a cruelty case when she was found starved and dying. The staff worked hard on Sophia and now she is in good health and is looking for her new home. She can be shy of strangers, but once she realizes that you are not going to hurt her, she is your best friend. Sophia is lucky to be alive, please show her how good life can be.
Meredith is a unique looking cat who came to the Stevens-Swan Humane Society as a stray. She is looking to find her forever home. Meredith is a sweet girl who loves to be petted, but it will take a little time for her to warm up to new people before she trusts you completely. She gets a long with other cats, but does like her space. She may hiss or growl at other cats if they get too close.
Miss Kitty is a young female brown tiger cat who is available for adoption from R-CATS. She is approximately a year old, spayed, up to date on her shots and like all R-CATS, microchipped. Miss Kitty is very playful and curious in nature, likes to play ball and hide in the kitty tunnel in a game of hide-n-seek. While she plays well with others, she is the type of cat who could be just as happy as an only cat with enough love for the whole family. Please contact R-CATS at email@example.com to find out more.
You can find out more about Meredith & Sophia along with the other pets available when you Email the Stevens-Swan Humane Society of Oneida County. Or visit them at 5664 Horatio Street in North Utica near BJ’s, Wal Mart and Lowes.
