Remember, Don't shop, Adopt ! Today we would like to feature two dogs currently living at the Stevens-Swan Humane Society. We've got two of mans best friend looking for a new home.

Stevens-Swan Humane Society

Parker is a very handsome 9 month old Pit Bull Terrier mix who was found as a stray. Therefore, we are not sure of his background. Parker is a very active puppy and would do best in an active home with an experienced owner. Parker recently walked with The Stevens-Swan Humane Society in the St. Patricks's Day parade and did a great job. Parker is a good boy on the leash. He gets a long well with other dogs, but does not do well with cats. Also, Parker does not do well with children, therefore he can not be placed in a home with young children. Parker is an awesome dog who would love to have a home to call his own.

Stevens-Swan Humane Society

Texas is a happy, energetic dog who came to the humane society after he was abandoned by his owner. He is around 2 years old, but is still full of puppy energy. Texas does not do well with other animals so he must be placed into a home as an only pet. He is great with people and he loves kids. Texas would enjoy a yard to call his own where he can run around and get some exercise. If you think you can give Texas a forever home please call or stop by and meet him.

You can find out more about Parker, Texas and the other pets available when you Email the Stevens-Swan Humane Society of Oneida County. Or visit them at 5664 Horatio Street in North Utica near BJ’s, Wal Mart and Lowes.
