Good news, we were going to feature Melanie at the Rome Humane Society, but, she's been adopted so today we'd like to tell you about Sam. Have you ever wondered what happens to that stray dog you may see walking along the road?  That was Sams situation. Fortunately he was picked up and brought to the shelter and now he's waiting for you.

Sam is a big, handsome, 5-6 year old, neutered male, tan and white pit bull terrier.  He is friendly and outgoing along with being very smart.  Sam loves to go for walks. You should see him strut down the road.  He is not good with cats, but he doesn't like most other male dogs. Oh yeah, Sam loves the ladies! Sam may look tough, but he loves to cuddle, so why don't you adopt this lovable lug today. Come meet Sam today! You can find out more about the pets available when you Email the Rome Humane Society of Oneida County. Or visit them at 6247 Lamphear Road.
