Amazing Winter Extreme Sports Video – Ice Cross Downhill

I received the February 2013 edition of the Red Bulletin magazine and found a profile of a sport I'd never heard of before, Ice Cross Downhill.

Imagine donning ice skates and careening down a 500 meter track of ice - round corners over bumps and all the while nudging and elbowing competitors.  This video is from Niagara Falls, Canada from December and shows reigning 2012 champion, Kyle Croxall.

The next Ice Cross Downhill competition takes place on January 26 in St. Paul.
