‘American Idol’ Winner Kris Allen Breaks Arm in Car Crash, Tweets Baby News
Season Eight ‘American Idol‘ winner Kris Allen is counting his blessings after a New Year’s Day accident. He and his wife were in a head-on car crash and Allen escaped with just a broken arm.
His mom Kimberly Allen Tweeted an update with a picture of Kris in the hospital ‘From Kris: he’s in a lot of pain, arm broke, may not play guitar for a while. Prayers welcome please! #headoncollision‘
Allen Tweeted he was in a crash and added baby news ‘Yes I got in a really bad wreck tonight and yes I’m having a lil baby. #gonnabeadaddy.’ Congrats on your upcoming son or daughter.
Thankfully the crash wasn’t a lot worse. Allen is expected to have surgery today. We wish him the best on a speedy recovery.
