Anne Hathaway Is Catwoman
I told you earlier this week the search was on for the leading female role in the next Batman movie. Director Christopher Nolan has confirmed that Catwoman will be played by Anne Hathaway. He also revealed who will play the villain Bane.
Hathaway will star as Selina Kyle in “The Dark Knight Rises.” Nolan says he’s thrilled to be able to work with her and calls her a fantastic addition to their ensemble. “Inception” star Tom Hardy has been cast as the villian Bane. Christian Bale returns as Batman. “The Dark Knight Rises” will hit theaters on July 20, 2012. I can’t wait to see it. How about you?
