April Fool’s at Little Falls Mansion for Mad Hatter Tea

It's all fun pranks on April Fool's Day at Overlook Mansion in Little Falls. The Little Falls Theater Company "LiFT" will be turning the mansion into a Wonderland-inspired paradise sure to please everyone, including your little ones.

From Noon til 3pm on April Fool's Day, Saturday, April 1, 2017, Overlook Mansion will be hosting a Mad Hatter Tea. They've invited members of LiFT to entertain throughout the historic landmark with improvisational theater performances. Watch your favorite Lewis Carroll characters come to life while you interact with them. Get your pictures taken, and of course come in costume to really be a part of the celebration. At the very least, wear your most unique and colorful hat. The more unusual, the better.

You can find out more at the Facebook event page. They will be serving tea and light snacks appropriate for the occasion. $20 tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the LiFT group.

This is a great example of how businesses and community groups really shine when they work together. If you've never been to the Overlook Mansion, it is an experience not to be missed. This is a great opportunity to check it out - it is truly an amazing resource in our area, and seeing this piece of history still alive and vibrant is a wonderful thing. And fun family events like this really make it another Central New York gem.
