After an extensive investigation, Colonie Police have arrested a man they believe is responsible for the hit-and-run death of a Rome soldier.

Master Sergeant Rudolph Seabron was killed in the early morning hours of Sunday, January 8th, 2017 in the apparent hit-and-run accident.

Now, police believe they have the man responsible. Brian Tromans of Melrose, NY turned himself in on Wednesday, and has plead not guilty to leaving the scene of a fatal accident.

Seabron was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was working with the New York National Guard, and was in the Capitol Region for military drills when he was killed. Seabron did tours in Iraq, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. He was 57 years old.
