Arts & Crafts Fair in Herkimer

There's a premier arts and crafts show coming up that takes it to another level. The Herkimer County show is juried with awards in many categories.

It's great to browse all the vendors at these craft shows, but let's remember that it really is all about art and artistry. The Herkimer County Arts & Crafts Fair is Saturday and Sunday, November 11 & 12, 2017. They always feature a huge variety of vendors and pieces from seasonal and decorative, to whimsical and even useful. Each exhibitor at the Herkimer show will designate one of their pieces to be reviewed by the jury. Judges will be looking at the artists' goals, creative process and craftsmanship. They will be awarding prizes for Best in Show, Award of Excellence, Awards of Distinction and Best Booth. Once again, it will be exciting to see who the winners are.

The Herkimer County Arts & Crafts Fair is spread out through a couple different buildings and classrooms at Herkimer College. You can view the full list of confirmed vendors on their website. You will find many New York State products, even some NY wineries. Be prepared to be impressed at this unique fair, which is easily accessible with plenty of free on-site parking.
