Mark Richards

I’m Mark Richards, mid-days and weekends on Mix96. I was born in Buffalo and I grew up in the Cheektowaga/West Seneca area. I was that nerd who read the Pledge to the Flag in high school. We had a radio station, so I’ve been hooked since the age of 14. I’ve been in radio since the 80s and I was on staff in Utica NY when Townsquare took over some years ago. The #1 most played song on my iPod? It’s most likely a mix of music you don’t hear on any radio station. Favorite movie, favorite quote from that movie? The Notebook, “It was NEVER over.”

The Children of The Killed Uzi Instructor Made a Video Letter to the 9-Year-Old Victim [VIDEO]

After my mother was killed in a car crash I wanted to write a letter to the other driver explaining that we understand that the accident wasn't his fault. We wanted to express our hope that he finds peace from the tragedy. Our lawyer strongly advised against this, and so we didn't.
