Take a Piano Lesson With ‘Kate & Allie’ [VIDEO]

At the beginning of the series 'Kate & Allie, Kate worked as a travel agent, while Allie stayed home and took care of the household. Kate often found that her struggles weren't taken seriously in her workplace, while Allie's story often revolved around learning to be more independent. By the shows fifth season, Kate quit her job and teamed up with Allie to start their own catering service.

This episode got me hooked on the show because when I was young, being a part time father was so foreign to me, and now that I'm a full time father, I reflect easily on the time that I held just a part time role in my son's life.
