The baby-food company is voluntarily recalling thousands of jars of its 'Classics Stage 2 Sweet Potato and Chicken' baby food (sold in four ounce jars). The food was produced back in December and was shipped out throughout the country.

Other varieties of the company's baby food are not part of the recall. According to NBC Washington,

The recalled jars have a December 2016 expiration date, bear the establishment number "P-68A" inside the USDA mark of inspection and include product numbers 12395750815 through 12395750821.

Any person who has purchased the baby food that has been recalled can return it to the store (they bought it from) and exchange it, or get a refund. Customers can also call the Beech-Nut Consumer Hotline for a full refund, or if they have any other questions or concerns about the recall. The number is: (866) 674 - 4446.
