I recently celebrated my 15th anniversary here at Lite 987.  Walt and his wife Camille have been Lite listeners for as long as I can remember.   Walt is courageously battling ALS, which is more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease.  As you can imagine, the medical bills are staggering.  To help defray some of those medical costs, there's a benefit in Walt's honor this Sunday at the American Legion at 110 Main Street in Whitesboro.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance or at the door.  The benefit, which runs from noon until four, includes a Chinese auction, a 50/50 raffle, food, entertainment from Jon Liebing and a raffle for a $100 worth of lottery tickets.  If you'd like to get tickets or more info, give Patti a call at 794-6285.  Walt, wishing you the best in your battle with this horrible disease.
