Best Coffee In Central New York — Our Top Five

There is nothing worse than sitting at your desk during your work day with no coffee. Coffee is the blood, sweat, and tears of the central New York Workforce. The real question is where can you grab the best cup of joe in Central New York?

There is a couple great places through out central New York and here is my top 5.

5) The Tram Café, 1105 Lincoln Ave in Utica

The Tramontane Cafe is by far one of my favorite coffee shops in Utica. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and of course coffee!

They are Vegan friendly, and if you enjoy the arts this is the cafe for you. Every Sunday they host Sunday Open Mic Night. You can catch yours truly this Sunday at 9:20 doing stand up. They have live music, and so much more when you grab a cup of Joe at the Tram Café!

4) Spressos Coffee House, 160 Brooks Rd in Rome

Do you want expertly prepared espressos drinks? Well at Spressos they are made by trained baristas! You can relax with family and friends, and surf the internet while you feel like you're right at home. Spressos serves Lattes, Cappucinos, Frappes, and my favorite, the famous caramel turtle. With coffee for anyone’s taste stop on by the Oneida Financial Center on Griffiss Park in Rome!

3) Seymour's Diner, Rte 233 in Westmoreland

As a Westmoreland boy there is only one diner close to my heart, Seymour’s Diner. You can get great breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials. They have the best breakfast and BBQ in the area, along with some of the best coffee. Come on in for breakfast, lunch, and Friday night dinners and grab a cup of coffee.

“And I said what about Breakfast at Tiffanys!”. If you’re from this area you have to stop by for coffee and breakfast at least once at Breakfast at Tiffany’s in Clinton. They serve amazing breakfast and brunch with a great dining atmosphere. It’s truly one of my favorite places to grab breakfast on a Sunday morning, and breakfast isn’t breakfast without coffee.

1) Riverside Diner, River Road in Marcy

Next time you’re picking up a prize from our radio station, go less than a mile down the road for great coffee and great food at the Riverside Diner. At the Riverside Diner it doesn’t cost much to get filled up on great food and coffee. They serve amazing omelets, skillets, wraps, salads, and amazing coffee.
