Best Read Cities In The USA

Nothing like enjoying a good book on the beach or catching up on your favorite magazine in the park this summer. Amazon.com has come out with its list of the most well-read cities in America. They created the list by looking at sales of books, magazines and newspapers in print and on the Kindle since January 1 of this year.
It seems Harvard students are always hitting the books, even for fun. Cambridge, Massachusetts — home to Harvard and MIT — topped the list, with Alexandria, Virginia in second place.
Cambridge also emerged as the top city for ordering nonfiction books, while Alexandria is all about the kids, leading the way in most children’s books ordered.
Florida has lots of people who like to read. It had the most cities of any state in the top 20 with three, thanks to Miami, Gainesville and Orlando all dotting the list.
