The American democratic system declared last week that same-sex couples cannot be denied the right to marry, and now, the monarchy has officially given its stamp of approval, too.

Queen Beyonce, who may be headed for superhero glory, has officially thrown her support behind the historic Supreme Court ruling...if only a few days late. Still, considering the wonder of her Instagram video offering, there's no way we could begrudge the recent BET Awards-winner for her tardiness.

"Never too late #LoveWins" the singer captioned the post, which finds her dancing to the tune of "7/11" in a series of rainbow-accented outfits that would make a bowl of Lucky Charms look like gruel. Yes, there are rainbow wings, rainbow sweatshirts and even a rainbow bikini—each look in competition with the last. And just when it seems like Bey's celebrations can't get any more prismatic, the artist rides across the frame in a tricycle while her kaleidoscope cape billows out behind her. Even pinwheels are like: "Jesus, that's colorful."

The Supreme Court of the United States officially ruled 5-4 on June 26 that same-sex couples were entitled to enter into marriage.

"No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family.” Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote in the majority opinion. “In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than once they were.”
