Big Bang Utica Winner Announced

Luke Tubia, WIBX

The winner of the Utica Big Bang twitter contest and the person who will get to push the button and bring down the Fay Street warehouse later this year has been chosen. Christina V. with the Twitter handle @xtinav_91 will get to legally implode a building in downtown Utica.

The demolition is part of the North-South Arterial Expansion project and will also benefit the Utica Youth bureau.

The implosion has been postponed due to permitting issues within the City, but will be rescheduled for sometime in the near future.

Here’s Big Frog 104′s Tad Pole and Polly Wogg drawing the winner on WUTR.
