If you're looking for a great deal on a flat-screen TV for the Super Bowl, this is a great week to bring one home. But, if you can wait until after the big game, there will probably be even better deals.

The week before the Super Bowl typically has sales of up to 10 percent off the listed price for flat-screen TVs. But according to CNN, because Christmas sales weren't all that hot, there's a big inventory out there that retailers are looking to blow out.

That means discounts next week could be as big as 20 percent to 30 percent.
