Perhaps you've seen it or heard someone mention a car traveling around town with an odd contraption mounted to its roof. The car is from Microsoft's search engine, Bing, and it's taking photographs of Utica's streets.

Very similar to Google's Street View, Bing offers a service called Streetside with its map program. As of July 2015, Streetside offers views of Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany and downstate New York. The images captured recently in Utica would be the city's first on Streetside.

Google Street View first visited Utica in 2008 and updated its street scenes in 2011.
