Enjoy delicious food, great music, drinks, and an afternoon of fun at Mohawk Valley Community College. And you'll be helping out a great cause just by showing up!

Whether you're more interested in helping out a local organization or you're more interested in chowing down on some great food, "Bites, Brews and Tunes" is going to be a blast. Definitely a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Central New York.

So let's give you the quick rundown of what you need to know, from the Neighborhood Center:

There will be plenty of food trucks on hand for the "Bite" portion of this event, including: Come Fry with Me, Filipino Food Zone, Georgio's Village Cafe, Holy Smoques, Mangia Macrina's Wood Fired Pizza, El Jefe's Tacos and More, and many, MANY others.

You'll get to enjoy live music from three different local acts: Our Common Roots, Last Left, and The Old Main.

There will be great drinks available from Villa Verona Vineyard, 16 Stone Brewpub, and Copper City Brewing Company.

The Neighborhood Center says the event costs $10 per person in advance (children 12 and under get in free), and $15 at the door. You'll want to bring some extra dollars with you so you can buy the delicious foods and maybe indulge in an adult beverage or two. The event is Sunday, August 12th at Mohawk Valley Community College and goes from 2pm to 7pm.

Why not give back to a local organization that prides themselves in helping and bettering our community? And while you're at it, you'll get to enjoy some great food, drinks, and music. Now all we have to do is hope that Mother Nature cooperates, and we have a beautiful day for the event!
