If you’re looking for a heartwarming story to brighten your day, we’ve got just the thing. This video tells the story of a blind stray dog who was rescued by animals lovers and who regained her sight with the help of surgery. Aww!

The poodle mix, whose name is Fiona, was rescued by Eldad and Audrey Hagar of the organization Hope for Paws from a dingy parking lot in South L.A. The Hagars then posted the dog’s story online in an attempt to raise money for an operation that would restore her sight.

Incredibly, the Hagars received donations from all over the world and raised $4,000 in four days, allowing the dog to undergo the procedure. While only one of the dog’s eyes could be saved, Fiona’s transformation afterward is remarkable nevertheless.

After the surgery, Fiona can be seen frolicking and playing like any normal dog would. Since then, she’s been adopted by a family and is enjoying life in a new home. Now if you’ll excuse us, we have to buy some more tissues.
