Halloween is right around the corner. That means many businesses, organizations, and other places throughout Central New York are planning their spooky-themed events.

And the Children's Museum in Utica is no exception. They created a Facebook Event to invite everyone out to their "Boo Bash" Halloween celebration. This event is not only going to be a great one for the little ones, but we're sure the whole family will enjoy it as well.

According to the Boo Bash Event Page on Facebook, there will be a magician performing at the celebration, and there will be activities and games for the kids. There will also be treats and crafts, and a professional photographer on-site to capture all the spooky fun of the day. The Boo Bash Event Page also states that the winner's of the Observer Dispatch's "Halloween Writing Contest" will be honored, and there will be a pumpkin decorating contest that kids can vote on.

The "Boo Bash" takes place on Saturday, October 27th and goes from 10am to 4pm. Cost is regular admission into the Children's Museum: $8 for adults, $6 for children ages 2 to 17, and free for children under 2. There are also discounts offered for students, veterans, seniors, and those who are receiving assistance.

Oh, we almost forgot!! This is the perfect time for your children to test out their Halloween costumes - Kids are encouraged to dress up for this event. And it sounds like a fun way to get the whole family into the Halloween spirit, right??
