The best-selling alternative rock back Cake will open up the Brewery Ommegang summer concert season this Memorial Day Weekend.  The band will perform at the Cooperstown brewery on Friday, May 26th at 7 p.m.  Tickets are on sale now and available at DSPshows.com.

Cake last hit the charts in 2011 when their "Showroom of Compassion" album debuted at number one on the Billlboard Top 200 Album Chart.  The Post Standard reports that the band is working on their next album, expected to be released later this year.

The band last played at Brewery Ommegang in 2012 as part of their summer concert series.  Tickets for this year's show are $45 in advance, and $50 at the gate.
