YouTube user Sam Tsui has built up a following with quirky covers of artists like Lady Gaga and One Direction. His latest creation is a 14-song medley of Britney Spears hits, which he performs with a keyboard, a drum machine and a huge goofy smile.

This is no ordinary YouTube amateur song. The montage-style video and layered vocals seem professionally done. “Had an absolute blast mashing together some of the Princess of Pop’s biggest hits,” Tsui writes. He takes on many of Brit’s biggest hits, including ‘(You Drive Me) Crazy,’ ‘Womanizer,’ ‘Gimme More,’ ‘Till the World Ends,’ and ‘Hold It Against Me.’

Tsui sings ‘Circus’ over the synthy string groove from ‘Toxic.’ He turns ‘Piece of Me’ into a ballad. And he proves what we’ve always suspected — that ‘…Baby One More Time’ and ‘Oops!… I Did It Again’ are exactly the same song.

Might Tsui, a Yale University graduate, follow in the footsteps of Karmin and become the latest YouTube sensation to sign a major-label recording contract? Tsui already has a digital album of covers to his credit, and many of his songs are available on iTunes. It will be hard for anyone to top his Britney medley, that’s for sure.
