Presidents Day, the third Monday in February, is sometimes known more for mattress sales, government holidays, and school vacations than the real reason it was created: initially to observe George Washington's birthday, which was February 22nd.

Now it's supposed to honor all U.S. presidents, many of whom had interesting connections to specific places and times in the history of Central New York. Do you know who grew up in Clinton? Who spoke in the Aud? Whose funeral procession stopped in Utica?

Those are just a few of the questions in our exclusive Mohawk Valley Presidents Day Quiz. Let's see how well you do.
