This weekend I headed into Little Falls for some exploring and adventures. My travels led me to 'Canal Days,' with drinks, music, fun, and a little gambling.

I've driven through Little Falls once or twice, but I've never really stopped and checked it out. This weekend I got the chance to do that, although I got distracted with 'Canal Days,' so that's where I ended up spending most of my time.

'Canal Days' was at the Little Falls American Legion. They were set up with a band playing, food, drinks, and just a really relaxing atmosphere.

Yeah, that happened. Every festival, local event, or whatever that I've gone to, always has pull tabs. I'm not going to lie, I really didn't know what they were. I figure the best way to learn something is to do it, so I bought my first pull tab in New York! Guess what?! ...That's right, I lost.

'Squirrel Murphy' was the local band playing, and they were really good. I loved how they performed music from a variety of artists - from classic rock to country to modern rock - they played it all!

I didn't get a chance to explore more of Little Falls (like I said, that was the initial plan, but Canal Days distracted me). But I know I'll get a chance to head back into Little Falls and check out the area more in-depth, at a later time.

I do like all the festivals (like the Polish-American one), fairs, and little side events I've been going to. I really feel like I'm starting to become a regular Central New Yorker! I wonder where my 'New to Naomi' adventures will take me next weekend!
