It has been a tragic weekend for the nation as we mourn the deaths of a mass shooting that happened in Orlando. A candlelight vigil will be held in CNY tonight.

It's a quiet day across America, as we try to wrap our heads around what happened over the weekend. On Sunday night around 2am a mass shooting occurred at a nightclub in Orlando, Florida. As of right now, the reports state 50 people were killed and another 53 people were injured.

With the nation mourning this tragic event, people in Central New York are showing their support for the LGBT community, and sharing their condolences with the victims, families, and loved ones that have been affected.

According to Syracuse.com, a candlelight vigil will be held tonight at City Hall. It will start at 6pm and will be in memory of the vicitms from the shooting. The candlelight vigil is being put on by CNY Pride - A non-profit organization that focuses on empowering and celebrating the LGBT community.
