Carly Rae Jepsen is utterly adorable. No wonder Justin Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun scooped her up and signed her to their label in the U.S. The Canadian cutie revealed that she is just one of many young adult bibliophiles that is super psyched about tomorrow’s (March 23) big screen bow of ‘The Hunger Games.’

Jepsen revealed to AOL that she is “obsessed” with the young adult book series penned by Suzanne Collins, where teenagers fight to the death on live TV in a dystopian world. She is halfway through the third book, calling it “my plane ride company.” She also joked that she’s “not counting down the days or anything” regarding the film’s arrival in multiplexes.

You never know. You might be munching on popcorn and gulping down a 32 oz. Dr. Pepper at the theater and look over, only to see Carly Rae Jepsen in your row, enjoying the ‘Games.’

In other CRJ news, she also performed her hit ‘Call Me Maybe’ — you know, the one that brought the Biebs and his team to her lair — acoustically at KiSS 92.5 in her native Canada. Jepsen absolutely loves singing this song, which you can tell from how she bounces on her stool and smiles while singing. She really is adorbs. We love those eyebrow-grazing bangs, too — such a flattering look for her.

The song captures that feeling of being nervous about approaching someone who gives you that tingle in your tummy and even in a stripped-down, acoustic form, it’s still fun, light and bouncy. Yeah, we’re crushing on Carly. We said it.
