The 2012 CMA Awards are pretty much like the high school prom of country music awards shows -- it's a biggie! Taylor Swift, of course, was one of the big honorees as well as a performer, and she got her share of ribbing courtesy of the hosts, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.

Paisley and Underwood began the schtick by talking about sports trades. "Peyton Manning's a Bronco," Paisley began. "Tim Tebow's a Jet," Underwood added. "The greatest trade of the year had to be the Kennedy family," Paisley said. "They somehow traded Arnold Schwarzenegger for Taylor Swift."

The crowd gasped and giggled, but Underwood whispered something to Paisley with a faux-worried look on her face. (Hint: It was about Swift and Conor Kennedy's split!) Paisley feigned shock, yelling, "Why am I the last to know? Are they ever going to get back together?" Underwood shook her head, answering, "Never." This led to the pair going back and forth saying "never" and "ever," ending with Underwood punctuating the exchange with, "Like ever." Paisley deadpanned, "Maybe she'll write a song about it." Underwood was just as dry and sarcastic in her response: "Nah, she'd never do that."

This isn't the first time Taylor's been the butt of a joke at a country music awards show. 'The Voice' coach and country king Blake Shelton poked fun at Swift's signature surprised expressions and ill-fated fling with Tim Tebow at the 2012 ACM Awards back in April.

The two hosts also peppered their introductory dialogue with a hilarious and adorable dance to the K-Pop viral video superstar Psy's 'Gangnam Style.' (You can fast forward to about 2:50 to watch!) For a country event, pop --- and pop culture -- were represented pretty well!
