Usually by mid-January we're all sick of snow, but it's magically fun again after seeing it through the eyes of a critter who's never set foot in snow before.
Today we would like to feature two cats currently living at the Stevens-Swan Humane Society. Here kitty, kitty, kitty. We've got two furry friends who are looking for a new home. Meet Layla and Chloe.
In the battle of dog versus orange, we might have to declare that this one goes to the latter.
With the ability to grow over 50-feet long (holding eyes that are equal to the size of dinner plates) this video -- featuring an enormous squid filmed more than 3,000 feet deep into the ocean -- proves that Jaws might be the least of our problems.
Alright all you dog lovers... While watching the biggest pigskin contest of the year, or even as an alternative, we are treated to other sights like the much anticipated line-up of hilarious (and not) commercials, but have you noticed a relative newcomer to Superbowl Sunday within the past decade?
Back in 2009, when Evan was seven, his family adopted a cat named Macha from City Kitties, an animal rescue in Philadelphia. The boy immediately took to the feline, and to show City Kitties his appreciation for his new pet, he wrote them a nice handwritten thank you note which included a $46.75 donation that he had saved up from his allowance.

Sally is such a pretty girl who likes to talk and go for walks. She'll sniff just about anything that has a smell. She came to the shelter as a stray back on December 12th and has been patiently waiting for a family ever since.
Salita reminds me of a cat I had years ago named Mittens. Mittens started her life out on the streets. Salita had a home once upon a time, but her family moved and left her behind. They lived out in the country, so Salita retreated into the woods and managed to survive on her own for a couple of years!
Spencer is a good natured boy who has so much love to give. He just can't wait to find a home for the holidays. He will even let you dress him up in funny holiday hats! Check out the video to see a festive Spencer.
Cats have a reputation for being rude and mean, and in some cases it's not entirely undeserved. In other cases, though, there are cats who demonstrate just the opposite. Like this one, who politely taps a human on the arm, and keeps it up until he gets some scratches
