November 28, 2012 Criss arrived at the Rome Humane Society back on July 11. As you can see in the video he had some sort of dental disease, but thanks to a generous donor, he was able to have a couple of teeth extracted, and now is doing well. He has completly recovered from his surgery, and just wait until you see his smile now. Criss can't wait to go home with you and show off his smile in your house.

November 21, 2012 While strolling through the boarding room full of dogs at the Stevens-Swan Humane Society last week only one dog wasn't barking it's head off at me. I say that affectionately. If they could talk, they'd be yelling, take me home with you! The quiet dog was Beagsly who is still looking for his forever home. Beagsly actually was adopted in 2009 but after a couple of years the family realized that they just couldn't afford him any longer so back to the shelter he went.
November 19, 2012 Have you heard of "The Friskies"? It is a major award given buy the cat food company for the best new internet cat video of the year. The grand prize winner gets $15,000, and category winners each receive $2500 each. The major award for the best new internet cat video of 2012 goes to a blind cat named Oskar. You'll enjoy watching him use his hearing skills to play with a ball.
November 14, 2012 Well, thank you so much Central New York, both Cinnabun and Jasmine have been adopted from the Rome Humane Society. If your looking for a dog that love to stick his head out of the window when going for a drive, Perro is the dog for you. He rides well in the car, and would love to take a ride to his new home, yours! Perro is an adorable, 9-10 year old, neutered male, black and tan chow/shepherd mix. He is friendly and outgoing and he also loves to go for walks.

When former Marine Shaun Duling met Bolt, a stray Labrador-shepherd mix, the little fella was skittish and hungry. Duling was doing contract work in Afghanistan with a German military unit, and while the Germans had adopted Bolt's sister as their mascot, the less-outgoing Bolt was mostly ignored.
