2:45 p.m. (EST): The Boston Police Department has announced that "there has not been an arrest in the Marathon attack." Investigations are ongoing.
2:35 p.m.: CNN is retracting their previous report that an arrest has been made in the Boston Marathon bombings. Other sources are reporting that officials are close to identifying a suspect after reviewing area surveillance video, but no arrests have been made.

Tonight (April 17th, 2013) The Buffalo Sabres will take on Boston Bruins in NHL action and there will be an empty seat where this Bruins fan should be sitting.

April 16, 2013 In just over three months (July 13th and 14th, 2013) the Utica Boilermaker festivities will be underway. The question on everyones mind in Central New York is, "Could this happen here?" Could what happened at the Boston marathon possibly happen during the running of the 36th annual Boilermaker race? We decided to reach out to Boilermaker officials along with local and state authorities to ask just that question.
Three people were killed and more than 100 injured on Monday afternoon when two explosions went off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Rescue organizations have gathered to help and at the the tragic scene, but how can you help?

April 16, 2013 The Tarrant County medical examiner says 42-year-old Kirk Franklin of nearby Saginaw Texas died in the infield during a NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway after he shot himself in the head. The death on Saturday April 13th is apparently a suicide.

April 9, 2013 I usually try to keep my posts on the bright side...but this story almost made me cry. It's a must watch. Jack Hoffman is the newest member of the Nebraska Cornhusker's football team and he's only seven! He's fighting brain-cancer and so, decked out in a number 22 jersey, Jack did indeed get in the game. He took a hand off and, took off! Jack ran 69 yards to the end zone while the crowd of more than 60,000 fans cheered him on and players followed him to lift him on their shoulders.
April 9, 2013 Last week the NFL released it's preseason schedule for the 2013 season and the Buffalo Bills will play against three of the same teams that they played during the 2012 preseason. They'll start out on the road against Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts in Week One. The dates and times of the games have yet to be released.
