Central New York Cheerleaders Headed to Nationals
The Oneida Pop Warner Jr. PeeWee cheer team is vying for a national title. They'll be competing in early December at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports. The girls put in hours of practice to advance to the final national stage, a first for the Oneida Cheer program.
At the 2018 Pop Warner National Cheer & Dance Championships December 3rd – December 7th Jr. Pee Wee Coach Stephanie Wickham and her cheer team will proudly represent Oneida and all of Central New York. Team members are Olivia Anania, Natalia Chevez, Hayleigh Cimpi, Giulianna Ferrucci, Skye Lighthall, Berlyn Schroeter, and Allison Vanderworken.
The honor is the result of the regional competition in early November in New Jersey. The Jr. Pee Wee team took 2nd place there and punched their ticket to Disney.
