If you thought you saw Gridley Paige lead singer Tim Moyer starring in Wednesday night's tree lighting ceremony at New York City's Rockefeller Center, you're not alone.

Lots of Central New York folks swore they saw Tim on stage during the big celebration. He received plenty of accolades and congratulations on his Facebook page, most of it tongue-in-cheek.

The screen-grabs people snagged off their TV sets during NBC's coverage, of course, were of Pat Monahan, the lead singer of Train, which actually performed at the tree lighting ceremony.

Tim had a great sense of humor about the whole thing, telling folks he actually owns the same leather jacket Monahan wore at the ceremony.

The two lead singers could be twins. We feel bad we missed the pair in our recent blog post about Central New Yorkers who resemble stars:

Maybe we left Tim out of that post, because we consider HIM to be the star.
