We knew summer and fall like temperatures would eventually come to an end, and it appears that will be happening this weekend.

Hopefully you've got indoor plans this weekend because our weather wizards are calling for winter like weather for the next couple of days. If you plan on wearing a hat, I suggest holding on to it with all your might.

Anchor your important outdoor possessions or bring them indoors because the wind will be whipping strong.  Gusts as high as 26 mph are expected for Saturday, and we could see our first snowfall of the season too. According to the National Weather Service the forecast looks fierce:

Rain and snow showers likely, becoming all rain after 9am.  Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected with a high of only 43.

Saturday night, temperatures will be dropping into the 20's, and Sunday doesn't look a whole lot better:

A slight chance of rain and snow showers before 2pm, then a chance of rain showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 42. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Now for the good news, by Tuesday of next week, we'll be up near 60 again. Wednesday's temperatures will warm up in to the lower 60's.

Stay warm with pizza!
