2015 marks the celebration of the Peanuts Christmas Special 50th anniversary and the USPS has found a great way to commemorate the occasion with a special series of holiday stamps based on the popular TV special "A Charlie Brown Christmas."

It's hard to believe it's been 50 years since the round-headed kid tried his hardest to remind his friends Lucy, Schroeder, Linus, Sally, Violet, and even his dog Snoopy, the true meaning of Christmas and that it is about so much more than presents and decorations.  Many families use the annual airing of the television special to try to remind their children of that very message every year.
The US Postal service has teased on Facebook that there will be 10 stamps issued and they are due to come out in October, each one will have a scene from the classic Christmas television special that aired December 9th, 1965. The USPS Store has a pre-order available now.
